CLASSES
MARCH, APRIL, MAY




SHOW AND TELL/OPEN STUDIO
 

Class fee $35, all supplies included (for one project, then supplies can be purchased), all skill levels (must have one class)
The first Monday of each month will be SHOW AND TELL/OPEN STUDIO. Each Monday will consist of a tutorial for a specific project, 2 hours of torch time, and supplies for the instructed project. Students are encouraged to try the instructed project or can use the torch time as open studio. 

MONDAY, APRIL 7, 6:00-9:00 - IMPLOSION PENDANT
MONDAY, MAY 5, 6:00-9:00 - SHEEP FACE BEADS - MAKE GREAT PENDANTS AND BUTTONS!




BEAD WORKSHOP
Class fee $50 all supplies included, all skill levels
In this three hour workshop students will learn the basics of bead making, which will include three bead shapes, pulling, and applying stringer. The class will also include information on torch safety, as well as a basic introduction to glass COE, and glass annealing.

STIR STIX & APPETIZER POKES 
Class fee $35 all supplies included, all skill levels
In this three hour workshop students will learn the basics flameworking, utilizing borosilicate glass. Each students will make eight items choosing between stir stix, or appetizer pokes! Mix it up, make 4 of each!

TUESDAY, APRIL 8, 6:00-9:00 





SUNFLOWER 
Class fee $75 all supplies included, INTERMEDIATE skill levels
In this four hour workshop students will be making their very own whimisical sun flowers utilizing borosilicate glass. Learning to utilize the flame to shape and form the glass into little works of art. Students will learn basic flameworking skills, as well as glass COE basics and the basics of annealing.

BLOWN ORNAMENT
Class fee $50 all supplies included, all skill levels
In this three hour workshop students will learn the basics of ornament blowing, the instructor will discuss both round and icicle shaped ornaments. Each student will have the opportunity to blow 10 ornaments; the ornaments will be ready to be picked up after class. Class will also include information on torch safety, as well as a basic introduction to glass COE, and glass annealing.

BLOWN ORNAMENT 2
Class fee $55 all supplies included, MUST HAVE BLOWN ORNAMENT 1
In this three hour workshop students will have the opportunity to take their blowing skills to the next level. This class will allow students to try out larger points, learn the trick to twisting the glass without breakage, utilize stringer in their points, and apply stringer to the outside of the points. Each student will have the opportunity to make 10 ornaments.

MARBLES

Class fee $40 all supplies included, 
Learn to create glass marbles at the torch utilizing borosilicate glass. Students will use stringer and frit both to learn surface decoration, as well as marbles with optic depth.

LET'S MAKE FISH
Class fee $135 all supplies included, all skill levels
This is a three week bead class which will meet one time a week, for three hours, for three weeks. The intent of this bead making class is that by the third week each student will have acquired enough skills to create their very own adorable fish! Students will learn the art of pulling and applying stringers, the use of heat and gravity to shape beads, and the delicate art of making big beads! Students will also learn the basics of glass COE, and glass annealing.

ICICLES
Class fee $40 all supplies included, all skill levels
A great class to learn the basics of flameworking while making unique icicles. These icicles are perfect for hanging during the holidays, but are also great to look at year round twinkling in your window. Students will have the opportunity to make many icicles, and will also learn about glass annealing and about glass COE.

SATURDAY, MARCH 22, 10:00-1:00



FUSED COASTERS
Class fee $50 all supplies included, all skill levels
In this two hour class each student will make four coasters. Utilizing COE 90 glass students will choose from a wide variety of glass frit, stringer, and other tidbits to create a unique design for their project. Once the designs are finished the pieces will be fired in a kiln and picked up at a later date.

FUSED BOTTLE STOPPERS
Class fee $35 all supplies included, all skill levels
Learn to create beautiful fused bottle stops! Each student will make three bottle stoppers utilizing COE 90 fusible glass.

MONDAY, APRIL 28, 6:00-8:00




GLASS FLOWERS
Class fee $35 all supplies included, all skill levels
In this three hour class students will learn the basics of flameworking while creating their very own bouquet of freshly cut GLASS flowers. This class really emphasizes how important it is where one works in the flame. With plenty of opportunity to spend time on the torch, each student should make at least 5 flowers.

SMALL BLOWN VASE

Class fee $65 all supplies included, intermediate class
A fun way to get introduced to glass. Students will learn the basics of pulling points and utilizing borosilicate glass will blow their own single bud vase.  Students will have the opportunity to blow 3 vases.

SUNDAY, MAY 18, 1:00-5:00



WINE BOTTLE STOPPER

Class fee $45 all supplies included, intermediate class
A fun way to get introduced to glass. In this three hour class students will learn how to mix colors, make a gather, and pull that gather into both a pendant and a wine bottle stopper! Students will learn the basics of borosilicate glass, the basics of glass annealing and the art of glass COE.

CLASS POLICY
All classes must be paid in full at time of sign up.
Refunds/credits will only be issued if cancellation is made one week prior to class start date.
Any CAG class cancellation will be rescheduled or refunded in full.
In case of questionable weather, cancellations will be made by 4:00 pm on class day.
